Data Scientist
I spent my childhood and early adulthood in Madrid, Spain, the city where I was born. There, I also went to the Universidad Politécnica and got my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering. During my Master's courses and thesis, I specialized in signal processing and grew interested in machine learning as I developed an algorithm that could operate a robotic arm based on an EEG signal captured from the user with a headset.
After graduating, I started researching full-time for the University in the fields of operations research and decision making first, and biometrics later as I wanted to move closer to signal processing and data science. After two years, I decided to move to the SF Bay Area to continue my career as a data scientist.
I also consider myself a finance enthusiast, having studied all of Professor Damodaran's material. This interest has driven some interesting projects such as my own Investment Club.
